If you already have both Ruby and RubyGems installed, you can easily download and install the latest stable deprec release by typing the following at the console:

gem install deprec

You can find older releases of deprec at rubygems.org.

in addition to hacking on deprec you are welcome to create and share your own deprec recipes gem. Just choose a different namespace prefix.
